Facts in the Time of Propaganda

Guys, research isn’t hard. This is the age of the internet, fact checkers, publicly available documents and actual video clips. Stop. Repeating. Propaganda.

Dates, facts, and sources matter. They just do.

Trump’s claims that the Bidens are central to this continue to be repeated by his propaganda network and supporters so I will add this section:
2014-Hunter Biden placed on Burisma board legally (though annoyingly through nepotism) The company was already embroiled in corruption.
2014-As a result, US and UK join Ukraine to investigate under prosecutor Shokin
2015-Investigation slows into Burisma.
“But the investigation went dormant under Mr. Shokin. In the fall of 2015, Joe Biden joined the chorus of Western officials calling for Mr. Shokin’s ouster. The next March, Mr. Shokin was fired.”

IN SHORT, BIDEN ACTUALLY APPLIED PRESSURE TO CONTINUE INVESTIGATING THE COMPANY HIS SON WAS ON THE BOARD OF. CONTINUE. NOT CEASE. NOT TURN A BLIND EYE. CONTINUE.

Facts

Important Dates in Impeachment Timeline:

Other noteworthy dates:

October 17-Mulvaney not only says aid was conditioned on interference in domestic affairs, he tells the press 1.) It happens all the time 2.) we should “get over it”. (https://www.youtube.com/watch…)

These are new and interesting things called facts that the news seems largely uninterested in reporting unless you’re a C-Span junkie like me and/or watched the hearings firsthand. I urge you all, especially as parents to find and source your information instead of using clips and newscaster color commentary as the ideology of your home.
